The tinglysing (land registration) fee is NOK 545 to register the deed and NOK 545 per mortgage document with Kartverket, Norway's mapping authority (2026).

Tinglysingsgebyr is the fee Kartverket charges to register a document in the land register. In 2026 it is 545 kr for a deed (skjote) and 545 kr for a mortgage document. It is a small but certain cost at closing, separate from the dokumentavgift.
