Data deletion

This page explains how to delete your Heimer account and the data associated with it. Heimer is operated by Väder AB (Sweden). If you have any trouble, email us at [email protected] and we will help.

    Delete your account from the app

    The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from inside Heimer:

    1. Open Heimer and go to the Settings tab.
    2. Open Account.
    3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

    Deletion is immediate and permanent. You will be signed out on every device and your active sessions will be revoked.

    Export your data first

    Because deletion cannot be undone, export your data first if you want to keep a copy. From the app settings you can download a machine-readable file containing your account details, saved properties, analyses, inspections, notes, ratings, and assistant conversations.

    What gets deleted

    When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

    • your email address, display name, and linked Apple or Google identifiers;
    • your saved properties, extracted data, scores, and AI analyses;
    • your notes, verdicts, and room-by-room inspections;
    • your preferences and any household portfolio settings;
    • your assistant conversations;
    • your uploaded photos, removed from our object storage.

    What may be retained

    A small amount of data may remain for a limited time for legal and operational reasons:

    • Backups. Encrypted database backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and remaining copies are overwritten within that cycle.
    • Billing records. Records we are legally required to keep under Swedish tax and accounting law are retained for the period required by law (normally seven years).

    Cancelling your subscription

    Deleting your Heimer account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, Google, or our web checkout provider, not by Heimer directly.

    • iOS: cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings.
    • Android: cancel in your Google Play subscription settings.
    • Web: cancel from the customer portal linked in your account.
