Eierbrøk (ownership share / sameiebrøk)
Your eierbrøk is your ownership share of the property; in a Norwegian sameie, common costs are split by it by default.
Eierbrok is each person’s ownership share when you buy together, for example 60/40. As a rule, costs are shared by this ratio, so let it reflect what each of you actually puts in rather than an automatic 50/50. Write it into a cohabitation agreement; it is registered and matters on a sale, an inheritance, or a break-up.
