Utlansforskriften is the regulation that sets how much you can borrow for a home in Norway. Your total debt may not exceed five times your gross annual income, the loan may not exceed 90% of the property value (so you need 10% equity), and the bank must check that you can service the loan at three percentage points above today’s rate, and at least 7%.
