Reklamasjon (complaint about a defect)

A reklamasjon is the formal complaint you send the seller about a defect; in Norway you have up to 5 years, but must complain within reasonable time of noticing it.

Reklamasjon is the written complaint you make to the seller about a defect. You must complain within a reasonable time after you discover or should have discovered the fault, and the absolute deadline is five years from takeover (claims also lapse after three years under the limitation rules). Keep documentation, because the burden is on you to show the defect.
