Budjournal (bid log)

The budjournal is the agent’s logged record of every bid in a bidding round: who bid, the amount, the time, and the acceptance deadline. The agent is required to keep it. The buyer and seller have the right to full access to the budjournal once the sale is closed, while others who took part in the bidding can get an anonymised version without names, so you can check that the bids really came in as the agent stated. As a buyer, ask for the budjournal if you want to see how the price was driven up or if the round moved fast. Access is a right, not something you have to argue for.
